Snoop dog sidetrack :)

Snoop played at glasto this year so I was playing around with his image in the style of a Hip Hop inspired artist, I wanted it to look partially hand rendered and by using the watercolour filter I think it looks quite loose and sketchy.

This is my experiment of the skwak style. In it I have illustrated monsters in tents, love bugs, freedom signs and lanterns. I still feel however it is difficult to communicate the response to the festival in this way so will try someone else!

This is pretty cool......his illustrations transend over to many art forms and media. His style is busy and intracate. His characters are malevilant but cute. He draws on walls, trianers, toys and digitally....He says "My illustrations are colourful, exaggerated and a bit crazy. They are composed of elements which have no connections and which bang together in the page. It's the spectators job to piece together the story!"

With this one I kept it simple accentuated a few layers and added a couple of filters? The outlines around the eyes made it look weird so I removed them.......

This one tricky too! I think its because the eyes had red eye and choosing the right lines was difficult to guess without making him look odd! I still think its not perfect and I could do more subtle shading next time.......oh and I had to get rid of the comedy tash too!

This was a little tricky because in the image my sister is pulling a silly face but i managed to warp her mouth and raise the eyebrows etc to compensate!

This is my first try, quickly trying to make it cartoon like........using the tablet!
